Business Development Professional - Remote - San Francisco Bay Area

We are currently seeking a Business Development Professional for our Business Development (BD) team. This is a field-based position in the US meant to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with Biotech Incubators to shape the future of our business through qualification and interactions with startup companies as well as technology surveillance for overall portfolio development. The goal is to contribute to the strategic growth plans by establishing relationships in key networks within our industry.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>What you will accomplish together with us </b></p><ul><li><p>Drive strategic business development partnerships to improve market positioning and financial growth of the company</p></li><li><p>Relationship management with biotech incubators in the territory with regular on-site visits</p></li><li><p>Opportunity and market analysis with a focus on monitoring and evaluation of startup companies</p></li><li><p>Build and maintain a database of early-stage companies with the promotion of relevant targets to cross-divisional teams internally</p></li><li><p>Management of timely interactions with newly onboarded and graduating companies in partner incubators</p></li><li><p>Build relationships to improve access to startup executives of relevant companies</p></li><li><p>Management of leads, opportunities with various internal stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Management of sponsorships program equipment and services</p></li><li><p>Promote Sartorius brand visibility within biotech clusters in the territory</p></li><li><p>Provide visibility to management on evolving industry trends</p></li><li><p>Evaluate and identify Biotech Incubators in the industry and make recommendations on opportunities for BD management</p></li><li><p>Negotiate and execute partnership agreements with Biotech Incubators</p></li><li><p>Work closely with members of all Sartorius Business Areas (BA) and Business Units (BU) to gather overall knowledge internally on Biotech Incubators</p></li><li><p>Negotiate and execute partnership agreements with Biotech Incubators</p></li><li><p>Scout for new/beneficial technologies from startup company</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What will convince us </b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelors' degree in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Life Sciences, or related field.</p></li><li><p>You have a Post Graduate degree in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Life Sciences, or related field or a minimum of 5 years of work experience in biological drug development or sales and marketing of bioprocessing <span><span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">technologies/services</span></span></p></li><li><p>National and/or international biopharmaceutical market experience</p></li><li><p>Ability to travel in your territory as needed;
