About the position
The Domain Director at Hitachi Solutions is responsible for overseeing and directing employees within the Domain, ensuring optimal team performance and individual growth. Responsibilities
• Provide oversight and direction to the employees in the Domain in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.

• Coach, mentor, and develop employees, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
,
• Act as primary escalation point for reporting employees.
,
• Responsible for completion of annual performance reviews.
,
• Work with Human Resources to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ an appropriate number of employees.
,
• Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action, with the assistance of Human Resources, when necessary.
,
• Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesiveness, support, and working effectively together to enable each employee and the department to succeed.

• Manage inter- and intra- team conflicts through direct issue resolution approaches.
,
• Responsible for building community among the team, including GDC resources.
,
• Responsible for ensuring reporting employees are scheduled to maximum utilization and meeting revenue targets.
,
• Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
,
• Lead employees to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, continuous improvement, and goal accomplishment.
,
• Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals.
,
• Partner with leaders across the Domain to deliver regular feedback to staff.
,
• Align with GDC Manager as it relates to project assignments and staffing.
,
• Responsible for ensuring all managed employees enter weekly time and expense entries within the required timeframes and that approvals are completed.

• Maintain transparent communication. Appropriate communicate organizational information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and appropriate email, Teams and regular interpersonal communication.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in people management.

• Proven ability to successfully lead and develop teams.
,
• Ability to lead by example, motivate teams, problem-solve, promote cross-functional collaboration and teamwork.

• Demonstrated organizational, communication, and analytical skills.

• Superior interpersonal skills.
