Job Summary
Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Remote NGO Project Tracker to monitor, manage, and report on ongoing nonprofit projects. This remote role supports the operational efficiency and transparency of NGO initiatives by ensuring timelines, budgets, goals, and reporting standards are consistently met. You will be instrumental in connecting project teams, stakeholders, and funders with real-time updates and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
• *
Monitor the progress of multiple NGO projects simultaneously using digital tracking tools.
• *
Maintain project documentation including reports, schedules, and milestone updates.
• *
Coordinate with project managers, donors, and field teams to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• *
Prepare progress reports for internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.
• *
Identify bottlenecks or risks and suggest proactive resolutions.
• *
Track budgets and timelines, alerting leadership of any deviations.
• *
Support grant compliance reporting and donor accountability.
• *
Update dashboards and maintain shared tracking platforms (e.g., Excel, Asana, Trello, or other PM tools).
• *
Facilitate virtual check-ins and status meetings with teams.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• *
Bachelors degree in Project Management, International Development, Social Work, Nonprofit Administration, or related fields.
• *
Proficient in project tracking and digital collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, MS Excel, Trello, Asana, Notion).
• *
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• *
Ability to interpret and compile data into actionable reports.
• *
Organized, analytical, and adept at multitasking.
• *
Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and attention to detail.
• Experience
• *
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in project tracking, coordination, or monitoring and evaluation, preferably in the nonprofit/NGO sector.
• *
Experience working with international teams or humanitarian aid projects is a plus.
• Working Hours
• *
Flexible remote work schedule.
• *
Must be available for virtual meetings in overlapping hours with IST (India Standard Time).
• *
Approx. 20–40 hours/week depending on project load and employment type (part-time/full-time).
