We are seeking a talented Senior / Lead level Unity Developer to join our dynamic team and support our development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for game development and expertise in Unity 2D & Unity UI Toolkit, specifically targeting iOS and Android platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging and high-quality learning and gaming experiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement 2D games using Unity for iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with artists and designers to create intuitive and visually appealing UI elements using Unity UI Toolkit.
• Optimize game performance and troubleshoot issues across various mobile devices.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality through best practices and version control.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in mobile game development and propose innovative ideas for new features.
Qualifications
• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience as a Game Developer / Unity Developer
• Experience writing customer-facing code
• Proven experience building and publishing Unity 2D games from scratch
• Experience, interest, or exposure to Unity UI Toolkit
• Experience developing games for native iOS/Android deployment
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with a team
• Experience or interest working in the EdTech space
