Job Description
We are seeking 23 experienced Salesforce Data Cloud Developers to join our team supporting large-scale clinical transformation initiatives. This role focuses on building out patient communication capabilitiesincluding SMS and email campaignsthrough scalable integrations and smart data modeling using Salesforce Data Cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and manage Salesforce Data Cloud ingestion APIs to stream data from various internal and external sources (e.g., appointment systems, historical patient data).
Develop zero copy references to tables within Google BigQuery (GBQ) to access patient data without duplication.
Set up calculated insights, profile matching rules, and segmentation variables to enable targeted patient communications.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Google Cloud, Health Connect) to implement integrations and support data flow across platforms.
Normalize and prepare data for use across marketing, care coordination, and analytics platforms.
Support activation strategies by enabling data delivery to platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, GCP, and AWS.
Troubleshoot data flows, monitor data accuracy, and refine segment creation processes.
Qualifications:
25+ years of Salesforce development experience
Strong Preference to have Salesforce Data Cloud experience (CDP), if not, Salesforce Core.
Strong background in data integration, including ingestion API setup and data modeling.
Understanding of zero copy architecture and Google BigQuery integrations.
Ability to distinguish between segmenting (filtering target populations) and activation (sending data to downstream systems).
Hands-on experience with calculated insights and building segmentation logic.
Strong knowledge of data categories in Data Cloud (Profile, Engagement, Other).
Ideal candidates will come from a Salesforce Core (CRM) background; marketing cloud-only backgrounds are not preferred.
Nice To Have:
Healthcare domain experience (e.g., patient appointment data, maternal health programs).
Familiarity with communication campaigns (email/SMS) and their data dependencies.
Prior experience in a large-scale Salesforce implementation with multiple pods or teams.
