About the position

The Training Developer is responsible for the development, maintenance, and delivery of content-specific curriculums within Physician Services, particularly supporting Lab Services. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure that educational strategies and course content meet the needs of targeted audiences. The position requires strong organizational and facilitation skills, along with a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities
• Develop educational strategies for competency-based and operational-based education initiatives.

• Manage multiple projects and assignments of various scales simultaneously.

• Develop, revise, and maintain content-specific education programs in conjunction with field experts.
,
• Deliver training initiatives for various groups using diverse delivery methods such as instructor-led, virtual classroom, and web-based methodologies.

• Provide training support during implementations as requested.
,
• Coordinate logistics for education events and departmental meetings.
,
• Partner with internal SMEs to maintain departmental standards and consistency in development.
,
• Maintain training administration records and review course evaluations for feedback incorporation.
,
• Utilize standardized courses and instructor evaluation processes for training effectiveness.
,
• Collaborate with team members to support development and delivery initiatives.

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree required; equivalent work experience may substitute degree requirement.

• 2-5 years of training and development experience required.
,
• Experience in developing and delivering training in various environments (classroom, virtual, eLearning).

• Demonstrated experience in facilitating workshops and training sessions for diverse audiences.
,
• Experience in developing training materials, including lesson plans and assessments.

Nice-to-haves
• Training or development certifications preferred, not required.

• Clinical certifications relevant to service area preferred, not required.
