The Tutor will play a vital role in helping K-6 students enhance their reading skills by providing virtual tutoring. The tutor will be responsible for delivering small group tutoring sessions through an intervention program, monitoring student progress, communicating with parents and teachers, and attending meetings and training sessions. Compensation and Benefits:
The hourly rate range for this role is $13.75 - $15 for preparation time; and $15 - $20 for the delivery of sessions.

Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual tutoring to small groups of K-6 students three set days per week
- Prepare for tutoring sessions by going through lesson plans and internalizing them
- Monitor student progress to determine if tutoring instruction is working or needs adjustments
- Track student attendance for tutoring groups daily
- Implement feedback from program manager and professional development coach
- Communicate clearly and consistently with teachers and parents on student goals and achievements
- Participate in virtual meetings and training sessions
Qualifications:
- Must be available for 60-90 minutes, three set days per week, between 3:00-4:30 Pacific time.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Has high proficiency in reading competencies at the high school level
- Comfortable using technology (Google Meet, Google Docs, Google Sheets, online platforms)
- Enjoy working with elementary school-aged students
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with parents, teachers, and program managers
