The consultant will be responsible for assessing, configuring, and optimizing our security posture to strengthen our resilience against cyber threats. </p><p></p><p>You will work closely with our IT security team to implement best practices, troubleshoot issues, and provide recommendations to ensure high availability, performance, and threat protection for our applications and <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">infrastructure. </span></p><p></p><p><b>Work-Mode: </b>This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">meetings. </span></p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Assess and evaluate existing Cloudflare WAF and Radware DoS configurations for effectiveness and compliance with security standards.</li><li>Implement, fine-tune, and maintain Cloudflare WAF rules, page rules, and security policies.</li><li>Configure and optimize Radware Denial of Service protection features, including behavioral DoS detection and mitigation strategies.</li><li>Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and performance alerts.</li><li>Provide proactive recommendations to improve infrastructure security, performance, and scalability.</li><li>Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analysis related to application layer and network-level attacks.</li><li>Develop documentation, playbooks, and guidelines for ongoing WAF and DoS support.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Network, Cloud, and Security teams to ensure coordinated protection measures.</li><li>Train internal staff on configuration management, monitoring tools, and incident response protocols.</li></ul><div></div><p><b>Required Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience in IT security, with at least 2 years focused on WAF and DoS mitigation solutions.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with <b>Cloudflare WAF</b> including custom rule creation, bot management, CDN optimizations, and SSL/TLS settings.</li><li>Hands-on experience with <b>Radware DoS</b> solutions including <b>DefensePro</b> or similar appliances/virtual platforms.</li><li>In-depth understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and Layer 3/4 & Layer 7 attack vectors.</li><li>Experience with incident detection, analysis, and remediation.</li><li>Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, ELK, Graylog).</li><li>Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul><div></div><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Certifications such as <b>Cloudflare Certified Partners</b>, <b>Radware Certified Technical Specialist</b>, <b>CISSP</b>, <b>CEH</b>, or <b>GIAC Security Certifications</b>.</li><li>Prior consulting or contract experience with enterprise clients.</li><li>Experience with security in hybrid and multi-cloud networks.</li></ul><p><i><span>Hourly range $80-90/hr </span></i></p><p><i><span>Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.</span></i></p><p><i><span>#LI-MR1</span></i></p><p><i><span>#LI-Remote</span></i></p><p></p><p>We are dedicated to fostering a collaborative, engaging, and <span>inclusive </span>environment and are committed to providing a workplace that empowers associates to be authentic and bring their best to work.
