<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong>Primarily responsible for providing support to Actuaries, Senior Actuaries, and the Product Management team by pulling data, compiling data for filing and reporting&nbsp;</p>

<p>State specific pay scales for this role are as follows:</p>
<p>$61,864 to $114,486&nbsp; (CA, NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, MA)</p>
<p>$56,240 to $104,078 (NV, OR, AZ, CO, WY, TX, ND, MN, MO, IL, WI, FL, GA, MI, OH, VA, PA, DE, VT, NH, ME)</p>
<p>$50,616 to $93,671&nbsp; (UT, ID, MT, NM, SD, NE, KS, OK, IA, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, SC, NC, WV)</p>
<p>The expected base salary for this position will vary depending on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills and location.</p>
<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<p><strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>To collaborate with the Product Management team with the goal of meeting profit and growth objectives to assigned PPA lines of business.&nbsp;</li>
<li>The actuarial analyst I will provide insight of collected data to help make informed decisions specific to assigned product lines. Collect and compile statistical data for additional analysis.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Participate in programming, preparation and interpretation of actuarial reports.</li>
<li>Participate in projects involving product development or financial management.</li>
<li>Explain proposals and findings to various parties, from company executives to department of Insurance. Develop new ideas that improve the department's performance</li>
<li>To provide meaningful reports to Sr. management that will further promote understanding of the assigned PPA line.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Support the actuary team with the state filing process presenting evidence to justify rate changes submitted to the Department&nbsp; of Insurance.&nbsp;</li>
<li>To provide support for the Pricing Workstation expansion, modify the existing workbook by adding more features for various product lines.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Regular attendance at work on a full-time schedule of at least 8 hours and 40 hours per week</li>
<li>Other functions may be assigned</li>
</ul>

<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's Degree required, preferably with a major in either math, actuarial science, finance, economics, or other quantitative fields&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Completion of at minimum 2 Actuarial exams&nbsp;</li>
<li>Prior working experience with Mercury Insurance</li>
</ul>
