<p><b>About the Role:</b></p><p>We’re looking for a <b>Business Analyst</b> to join our Supply Chain team of our global IT team and help drive meaningful transformation across our business. You’ll play a hands-on role in replacing legacy systems, delivering scalable cloud-first solutions, and exploring how automation and AI can improve the way we work.</p><p><br></p><p> This is an opportunity to solve real-world problems, shape new tools, and work on initiatives that impact how we operate, sell, and serve - all within a team that values care, curiosity, collaboration, openness, and delivering value.</p>\n<p></p><p><br></p><b>What You'll Do:</b><ul><li><b>Requirements Gathering &amp; Analysis</b></li><li> - Elicit, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements.</li><li> - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and priorities.</li><li><b>Facilitation &amp; Engagement</b></li><li> - Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather and refine requirements.</li><li> - Act as the bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment.</li><li><b>Agile Delivery &amp; Documentation</b></li><li> - Contribute to Agile ceremonies and maintain a backlog of user stories.</li><li> - Support solution evaluation, testing activities, and risk management.</li><li><b>Process Improvement</b></li><li> - Model business processes using BPMN and identify improvement opportunities.</li></ul><p><br></p><b>What You'll Bring:</b><div><b>Must haves:</b></div><div> • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT change or software delivery projects.</div><div> • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.</div><div> • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.</div><div> • Ability to manage workload independently and work with minimal supervision.</div><div> • Proficiency in BPMN process mapping and business requirements elicitation.</div><div><b>Nice to haves:</b></div><div> • Experience within supply chain, WMS, wholesale, or distribution environments.</div><div> • Knowledge of JIRA Software and Confluence.</div><div> • Recognised business analysis qualification (IIBA/BCS).</div><p><br></p><b>Location:</b><ul><li>This role is remote-first, with occasional travel to Janet Nash House in Durham and other CEF locations to meet business need.</li></ul><p><br></p><b>Why Join Us?</b><ul><li>CEF (City Electrical Factors) was founded in 1951 in the UK and has grown to become the UK’s leading electrical wholesaler, with over 390 branches nationwide.
