Position Summary
This Property Partnership Manager role is focused on driving new business and rapidly expanding our network of Property Partners in Orlando and Orange County. You'll act as the Account Executive for your market, owning the sales cycle from prospecting and outreach to closing agreements with multifamily and single-family properties. You'll also ensure partners transition smoothly into our program and stay engaged, but your primary mission is to grow our presence by securing new Property Partners. Critical Job Functions
The following describe the critical functions of the role, but do not provide an extensive list of job responsibilities and duties.
• Lead business development and sales efforts, dedicating most of your time to prospecting, pitching, and securing new Property Partners.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform outreach strategies.
• Build a high-quality pipeline using Salesforce and other CRM tools, and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct discovery calls and meetings with property owners and managers, tailoring pitches to their needs.
• Oversee the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to signed agreements, with clear goal ownership and tracking.
• Coordinate a smooth onboarding process, then maintain light-touch account management to ensure satisfaction.
• Create and maintain sales performance reports and dashboards to track KPIs and pipeline health.
• Represent Housing Connector at industry events to build connections and promote partnership opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal program and operations teams to align new inventory with program standards, demand, and market needs.
• Consistently deliver on goals, objectives, and key results for property growth at the market with the VP of Property Partnerships and Managing Director
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications
• 2-5 years of B2B sales, sales development, account executive, or business development experience, preferably selling directly to property owners or third-party property management firms.
• Professional experience in sales, account management, customer success, client services, or recruiting, with direct experience in the property management industry preferred.
• Ability to interpret and develop documents such as memorandums of understanding and contracts.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Salesforce or other CRM experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment.
• Experience tracking and interpreting sales metrics or performance data.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across sales, program, and operations teams.
• Comfortable working on a small team where adaptability, flexibility, and creativity are necessary.
• Understand the landlord perspective, ideally gained through experience in multifamily property management or real estate.
Nice to have
• Knowledge and experience working with supportive housing programs: Housing Choice Voucher, Rapid Rehousing, VASH, LIHTC or similar.
