Android Developer (Remote)

The ideal candidate is passionate about mobile technologies, writes clean and efficient code, and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Responsibilities</strong></div><div><br></div><ul><li><div>Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.</div></li><li><div>Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement features.</div></li><li><div>Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using Kotlin/Java.</div></li><li><div>Work with APIs and third-party libraries to integrate backend services.</div></li><li><div>Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.</div></li><li><div>Identify and fix bugs, and continuously improve application performance.</div></li><li><div>Stay up to date with new Android trends, tools, and best practices.</div></li><li><div>Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.</div></li></ul><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><strong>Requirements</strong></div><div><br></div><ul><li><div>Proven experience as an Android Developer with published apps in Google Play Store.</div></li><li><div>Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.</div></li><li><div>Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and development tools.</div></li><li><div>Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries.</div></li><li><div>Familiarity with Android UI/UX design principles and Material Design.</div></li><li><div>Knowledge of databases (SQLite, Room) and offline storage solutions.</div></li><li><div>Understanding of Git version control.</div></li><li><div>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).</div></li></ul><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><strong>Nice-to-Have</strong></div><div><br></div><ul><li><div>Experience with Jetpack Compose.</div></li><li><div>Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.</div></li><li><div>Familiarity with Firebase (authentication, notifications, analytics).</div></li><li><div>Exposure to cross-platform frameworks (Flutter, React Native) is a plus.</div></li><li><div>Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.</div></li></ul><div><br></div>
