Beta Readers Needed – Children’s Superhero Storyline (Ages 6–10) - Contract to Hire

Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and insightful beta readers to provide feedback on a children’s superhero manuscript aimed at young readers aged 6 to 10. The story combines adventure, moral lessons, and age-appropriate humor in a fresh, imaginative world.

This is a pre-publication manuscript, and your feedback will directly influence final revisions before professional editing and submission to publishers.

Responsibilities:

• Read the manuscript carefully and thoroughly

• Provide detailed, constructive feedback on:

• Plot clarity and engagement

• Character development and relatability

• Pacing and tone

• Age-appropriateness of content and language

• Overall appeal to the target age group

• Complete a short feedback form or summary after reading

Qualifications:

• Passion for children’s literature, especially in the superhero or adventure genre

• Prior experience as a beta reader, educator, librarian, or parent (preferred but not required)

• Excellent communication and attention to detail

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Commitment to confidentiality regarding unpublished work
