About the position

ManageEngine, founded in 2002, builds enterprise-level IT management software. Offering over 90 products and free tools to more than 180,000 organizations worldwide (including three out of every five Fortune 500 companies), ManageEngine is growing its New Braunfels and Austin operations. We're looking to bring on two salaried employees to copy edit marketing material and other content. The Chennai-based marketing teams generate thousands of words each day in the form of direct-email campaigns, press releases, blog posts, case studies, e-books, video scripts, and other marketing content. Our review team checks and revises content to ensure that it is clear, compelling, and easy to understand.

Responsibilities
• Correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, terminology, style, and usage
,
• Identify errors, omissions, inconsistencies, jargon, and needless repetition
,
• Resolve ambiguities and anomalies
,
• Ensure overall flow and effectiveness
,
• Edit a variety of marketing content-including webpages, blogs, mailers, and e-books-as per ManageEngine's style guide
,
• Pay particular attention to content's grammar, clarity, and tone
,
• Collaborate with writers and other editors to produce high-quality copy, often under tight deadlines
,
• Research subject matter as needed to verify content's technical accuracy
,
• Build strong relationships with content creators, and provide feedback on how writers can improve
