THE ROLE OF A COREPOWER YOGA STUDIO COORDINATOR
As a Studio Coordinator (SC), you support the world-class CorePower Yoga studio experience by coordinating studio operations and maintaining the highest health and safety standards. You work alongside the Studio Manager to achieve company and studio goals. This is a part-time, entry-level role designed to help you learn the business and develop relevant skills.
Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience
Act as an ambassador of CorePower Yoga values and inspire others.
Support the Studio Manager in achieving goals related to membership, retail sales, community outreach, and programming.
Maintain a flexible schedule of 18-29 hours per week, supporting operations, teaching (if certified), health and safety protocols, front desk, and team support.
Serve as the point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is unavailable.
Manage studio supplies and amenities to ensure a welcoming environment.
Engage with the studio community, greet students, and foster a sense of belonging.
Assist teachers with POS and other pre/post class duties.
Coordinate and Execute Health, Safety, and Cleanliness Protocol
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the studio environment.
Communicate health protocols to students effectively.
Support studio cleanliness and supply management, including training new team members.
Coordinate studio operational systems, including POS, reservation system, subbing application, and HRIS.
Report facilities issues and follow up as needed.
Teaching Schedule
Support the studio class schedule by teaching at least 6 branded CorePower Yoga classes per week and subbing additional classes as needed.
Skills & Experience
Demonstrate CorePower Yoga core values.
Excellent communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in customer service.
Completion of a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certified program preferred.
Yoga Sculpt teacher training is a plus.
Familiarity with studio systems such as HRIS, POS, and scheduling tools.
Ability to build relationships with diverse individuals.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and manages multiple deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
College degree (BA/BS) preferred.
The Fine Print
Availability must align with the studio's schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical ability to move around the studio, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
If certified to teach, able to step in to teach classes with minimal notice.
