<p style="text-align:left"><b>Work Schedule</b></p>Standard (Mon-Fri)<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Environmental Conditions</b></p>Office<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b><u>Job Description</u></b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>COMPANY: </b>Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc.</p><p></p><p><b>LOCATION:</b> 168 Third Ave., Waltham, MA 02451 (can work remotely)</p><p></p><p><b>TITLE:</b> <span>Compensation Analyst III</span></p><p></p><p><b>HOURS:</b> Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm</p><p></p><p><b>DUTIES:</b> Lead and assist in the planning, design, implementation, monitoring, and administration of new or complex compensation programs and projects.</p><p> Administer and monitor compensation programs for assigned clients and regions.</p><p> Lead and assist in the design and implementation of programs and provide consultation, guidance, and support to HR partners and line managers on compensation matters.</p><p> Analyze labor and market data to assess competitive position of compensation or benefits programs and develop recommended actions based on findings.</p><p> Develop advanced financial models, performs detailed statistical analysis, and prepare reports and presentations.</p><p> Research and analyze new or revised regulations and legislation, provide assessment of impact, and develop recommended actions.</p><p> Support merger and acquisition related program integrations and transitions.</p><p></p><p><b>TRAVEL: </b>Up to 5% domestic and international travel required. <b>Telecommuting Employee: </b>Reports to company headquarters in Waltham, MA. Can work remotely or telecommute.</p><p></p><p><b>REQUIREMENTS: </b>Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience as a Rewards Specialist or related occupation. Employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience as a Rewards Specialist or related occupation as an equivalent alternative.</p><p></p><p> Required knowledge or experience with:</p><p> Data analysis in Excel including complicated formulas, data models, and analyzing large datasets;</p><p> Data storytelling experience translating complex data findings into dashboards, graphs, and PowerPoint slides;</p><p> HR Information Systems including Oracle and Workday;</p><p> Market pricing methodologies;</p><p> Complex organizations structures and environments with international compensation and benefits practices;</p><p> Compensation-related laws and regulations including FLSA & EEO;</p><p> Compensation and benefits theories, principles, job evaluation, and job leveling techniques.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
