About the position

As a SC Banker at JPMorgan Chase & Co., you will play a crucial role in providing financial services and products to high net worth individuals, particularly focusing on clients from Brazil. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and manage an existing book of clients while actively prospecting for new high net worth individuals. This involves performing detailed financial statement analysis utilizing various accounting tools, economic models, and statistical methods, as well as estate planning strategies. You will be tasked with creating customized financial strategies tailored to the unique needs of both existing and prospective clients, which will require conducting thorough quantitative research. In this position, you will analyze balance sheets and gain a deep understanding of your clients' investment objectives, allowing you to customize recommendations that effectively assess risk and return. Your expertise in private banking will be essential as you articulate financial planning strategies and investment solutions to current and prospective Brazilian clients. This includes pre-transaction planning strategies and customized lending options, as well as constructing detailed client profiles and wealth portfolios based on prevailing economic conditions. The role requires a strong understanding of global practices within the private banking industry, including cross-border banking regulations and laws that apply to financial planning. You will also be responsible for creating impactful presentations for clients using Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat PDF Pro, and for comparing potential allocation strategies while generating multi-period projections based on complex market conditions using Monte Carlo Simulation analysis. This position involves up to 15% domestic and international travel to various client sites and JPMorgan offices, and telecommuting is permitted for up to 20% of the week.

Responsibilities

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related quantitative field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as SC Banker, Executive Director (Banking), Financial Risk Manager, Portfolio/Investment Advisor, or related occupation.

• Alternatively, a Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related quantitative field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as SC Banker, Executive Director (Banking), Financial Risk Manager, Portfolio/Investment Advisor, or related occupation.

• Experience in private banking client acquisition and services including investments, loans, and trusts and estates.

• Ability to articulate financial planning strategies and investment solutions to Brazilian clients.

• Experience in constructing private banking client profiles and wealth portfolios based on economic conditions.

• Knowledge of global practices within the private banking industry and cross-border banking regulations.

• Fluency in Portuguese, both oral and written.
