<p>Skiptown is growing, and we’re looking for an <strong>Accounting Manager</strong> who enjoys balancing <em>detailed accounting work</em> with <em>improving systems and processes</em> for future expansion.</p>

<h2><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h2>
<p><strong>Hands-On Accounting Operations</strong></p>
<ul>

<p>Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online Enterprise Suite</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Create clear, repeatable processes for entries, payroll, prepaids, inter-company, etc.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Manage the monthly close process and ensure timely reporting</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Financial Reporting &amp; Compliance</strong></p>
<ul>

<p>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (US GAAP)</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Support audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Controls &amp; Risk Management</strong></p>
<ul>

<p>Implement practical, effective internal controls</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Manage expense management tools and credit card processes</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Scaling for Multi-Location &amp; Franchise Growth</strong></p>

<p>Design reporting systems for franchisees, royalties, and lease monitoring</p>
</li>

<p>Standardize workflows that can scale with new locations</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Process &amp; Systems Improvements</strong></p>

<p>Automate and streamline workflows for invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting</p>
</li>

<p>Document policies and align the team on consistent practices</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Lease Administration Support</strong></p>
<ul>

<p>Track rent schedules, landlord changes, CAM reconciliations, and flag savings opportunities</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>You’ll Thrive in This Role If You Have:</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>
<p>3–7 years of accounting experience with strong <em>hands-on</em> exposure</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>CPA certification (active or inactive)</p>
</li><li><p>Familiarity with franchise accounting</p></li>
<li>
<p>Solid knowledge of US GAAP and multi-entity accounting</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience delivering accurate financials and improving processes</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Comfort working both independently and collaboratively in a growing environment</p>
</li>
</ul>
