Supervisor, Inflight Dependability (Remote Work Assignment Available)

The Supervisor, Inflight Dependability is responsible for managing all aspects of the Inflight Dependability Policy for a large Flight Attendant team. This includes providing direction, coaching, and counseling to Flight Attendants regarding sick leave, leaves of absence, and company policies and procedures. The role involves monitoring Flight Attendant turnover and absenteeism, conducting internal investigations into potential misconduct, assisting in grievance and arbitration hearings, and administering attendance reporting and corrective actions. The Supervisor will also analyze performance data and compile reports on attendance, leaves of absence, and attrition trends, while ensuring compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the Inflight Dependability Policy for a large Flight Attendant team. ,
- Provide direction, coaching, and counseling to Flight Attendants regarding sick leave, leaves of absence, and company policies. ,
- Monitor Flight Attendant turnover and absenteeism. ,
- Conduct comprehensive internal investigations into potential Flight Attendant misconduct. ,
- Assist management in grievance/arbitration hearings and unemployment hearings. ,
- Work with Inflight Base Supervisors regarding dependability policies. ,
- Administer all attendance reporting and corrective action to all Flight Attendants. ,
- Ensure Flight Attendant schedules are properly updated. ,
- Assist the Inflight Services Manager and Director with special projects. ,
- Educate, train, and enforce accountability of Flight Attendants in department policy. ,
- Analyze and evaluate statistical performance data and compile reports. ,
- Oversee administration of progressive discipline and job terminations. ,
- Work closely with Payroll regarding pay discrepancies. ,
- Provide backup to Inflight Base Supervisors as needed. ,
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- College degree in Business or equivalent work experience preferred. ,
- 3 to 5 years of management/supervisory experience preferred. ,
- Experience working with union representatives and grievance hearings preferred. ,
- Proficiency in CrewTrac, Oracle, and MS Office Suite.
