Job Summary:

The Elite Job is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cybersecurity Analyst for an Information Security role. In this position, you will play a critical part in protecting the companys digital infrastructure and sensitive data from potential threats. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will collaborate with the IT and security teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role demands a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for cybersecurity and a deep understanding of information security practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct security assessments, including vulnerability scans and penetration testing, to identify risks and potential security threats.
  • Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard the organizations networks, systems, and data.
  • Monitor and analyze network traffic for unusual activity or security breaches.
  • Respond to security incidents, performing root cause analysis and developing remediation plans.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations of hardware, software, and cloud-based systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and compliance regulations.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to departments to enhance their security posture.
  • Perform regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Assist in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Provide reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and risk assessments to senior management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or in a similar information security role.
  • Strong understanding of security protocols, network security, encryption technologies, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS.
  • Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
  • Experience with security auditing, risk assessments, and vulnerability management.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automating security tasks.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and security audits.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory standards such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, and HIPAA.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and understanding of cloud security best practices.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday.
  • Occasional on-call or after-hours support may be required in case of urgent security incidents or breaches.

  • Deep understanding of current cybersecurity threats, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various teams.
  • Strong decision-making skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
