About the position
The Lead, Program Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining complex integrated schedules for all budgeted work within the organization. This role involves incorporating changes, challenging inputs from cost account managers, and resolving scheduling issues. The Lead will also prepare formal project-level Master Schedules, analyze monthly status information, and track plans and schedules while performing risk analysis. The position requires leading schedule status reviews and communicating effectively with senior leaders and external parties.
Responsibilities
• Develop integrated master schedules using IMP, SOW, and WBS.
,
• Perform Driving Path Analysis, Critical Path Analysis, Schedule Risk Analysis, and Schedule Metric Analysis.
,
• Conduct DCMA 14 Point analysis and other related schedule validations.
,
• Create High Level Schedule Charts for monthly Internal Program Reviews.
,
• Perform and advise CAMs of Schedule Risk Analysis (SRAs).
,
• Make/recommend substantial improvements to systems and processes.
,
• Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management, and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances.
,
• Attend and lead scheduling status reviews and conduct briefings with senior leaders.
,
• Lead creation of Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) Deliverables.
,
• Support joint surveillance reviews (JSRs) with DCMA.
,
• Ensure compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines.
,
• Communicate with parties external to the organization when necessary.
,
• Work to influence others to accept individual or team's views or practices.
,
• Ability to work extended hours in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree with nine (9) years of prior Program Scheduling experience.
,
• Graduate Degree with seven (7) years of prior Program Scheduling experience.
,
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior Program Scheduling experience.
,
• Comprehensive level knowledge of job area and in-depth knowledge of project management.
,
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance.
,
• Advanced use of Microsoft Project.
