This role ensures that AI initiatives align with regulatory requirements, ethical standards, patient safety, and organizational policies. Estimated salary range for this position is $142599.25 - $185379.03 / year depending on experience.</p>
<p style="font-family: Arial;">Responsibilities:</p>
<p style="font-family: Arial;"><strong>Governance &amp; Policy Development</strong><br>Develop and implement enterprise-wide AI governance policies and procedures.<br>Ensure alignment with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, FDA AI/ML guidelines).<br>Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, IT Security, and Clinical teams to evaluate AI use cases.<br><strong>Ethical &amp; Responsible AI</strong><br>Define and enforce responsible AI principles, including fairness, transparency, explainability, and accountability.<br>Develop mechanisms to assess and mitigate bias and unintended consequences in AI models.<br><strong>Risk Management &amp; Compliance</strong><br>Oversee risk assessments of AI/ML models prior to and post-deployment.<br>Monitor AI systems for model drift, bias, and performance degradation.<br>Ensure documentation, model lineage, and audit trails are maintained.<br><strong>Operational Oversight</strong><br>Lead an AI Model Review Committee or Governance Council.<br>Establish and maintain processes for model approval, change control, and sunsetting.<br>Work closely with data scientists, MLOps engineers, and clinical stakeholders to ensure models meet safety and ethical standards.<br><strong>Education &amp; Advocacy</strong><br>Educate internal stakeholders on AI governance best practices.<br>Advocate for patient-centric and ethical use of AI across the organization.<br>Stay current on emerging regulations, frameworks, and technologies.</p><h2>Qualifications:</h2><br><p style="font-family: Arial;">Degrees:</p>

<li style="font-family: Arial;">Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Health Informatics, Public Policy, or related field.<br>5+ years of experience in AI/ML governance, healthcare compliance, or technology risk management.</li>
<li style="font-family: Arial;">In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and ethical considerations surrounding AI.</li>
<li style="font-family: Arial;">Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and lifecycle</li>
<li style="font-family: Arial;">Knowledge of regulatory and legal frameworks related to AI in healthcare</li>
<li style="font-family: Arial;">Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills</li>
<li style="font-family: Arial;">Strategic thinker with attention to detail and execution focus<br><strong>Preferred:</strong><br>Master’s degree or certifications (e.g., CIPP, PMP, or Responsible AI certification).<br>Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and ML tools.<br>Experience working with clinical data, EHR systems, or regulated healthcare technologies.</li>
