Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team at our Middle School located in Lawrence, Kansas. This hybrid position offers an exciting opportunity to build essential skills in customer service while contributing to our educational environment. As an intern, you will interact with students, parents, and faculty, providing support and addressing queries effectively. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for helping others in the educational field.

Responsibilities
Assist in answering phone calls and responding to emails in a timely and professional manner.
Provide accurate information and assistance to students, parents, and faculty regarding school programs and policies.
Document and track customer interactions and feedback to improve service delivery.
Support administrative staff with various tasks, including data entry and maintaining student records.
Facilitate conflict resolution by addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer service experience.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance customer service skills.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; current enrollment in a related educational program is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
Experience in customer service or administrative roles is preferred but not required, up to 4 years maximum.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent active listening skills with the ability to adapt to different situations.
