Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day support for Oracle EBS R12 Financial modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), and other related modules.
• Analyze and resolve functional and technical issues in the Oracle EBS R12 environment, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Perform system configuration, customization, and personalization to meet client requirements.
• Develop and maintain custom reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RICE components) using tools like PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Workflow.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, provide solutions, and conduct user training as needed.
• Monitor system performance, apply patches, and perform upgrades to ensure system stability and compliance.
• Document technical and functional specifications, processes, and resolutions for future reference.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, DBAs, and other consultants, to deliver integrated solutions.
• Provide root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience as an Oracle EBS R12 Techno-Functional Consultant with a focus on Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM).
• Strong functional knowledge of Oracle EBS Financials processes, setups, and configurations.
• Prior experience in a client-facing role with an IT service provider or consulting firm.
• Proficiency in technical development using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Workflow, and XML Publisher.
• Experience in supporting RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions).
• Familiarity with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and Application Development Framework (ADF) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a timely manner.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members effectively.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices for support projects.
Preferred Qualifications
• Oracle EBS R12 certification in Financial modules.
