Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role, with a deep understanding of network infrastructure, protocols, and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Proficiency in network management software and tools, including monitoring, diagnostic, and configuration tools.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking, routing and switching, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and TCP/IP.
• Familiarity with network security protocols and best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot network issues and work independently to resolve complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with remote teams and clients.
• Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.

Experience:

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with a focus on managing and maintaining network systems.
• Experience in managing home-based or remote network infrastructures is a plus.
• Prior experience in the design and implementation of LAN/WAN architectures, VPNs, and cloud-based solutions is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar will be considered an advantage.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position with flexible working hours.
• Must be available to work during standard business hours (9:00 AM � 6:00 PM EST) and be open to after-hours support as needed for critical issues.

• Strong understanding of network security practices and their implementation.
• Proficient with network automation tools and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
