The Associate Director of Training 1 for Mental Hygiene is responsible for overseeing a comprehensive education and training program for facility staff, including those in community-based programs. This role involves supervising training staff, coordinating mandatory training, and ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements. Responsibilities
• Oversee a comprehensive education and training program for facility staff.

• Supervise training staff in developing and conducting education and training programs.

• Monitor training initiatives for compliance with mandated accreditation requirements.

• Coordinate critical and mandatory training for new and current employees.
,
• Plan, organize, and direct training programs to improve performance of agency operations.
,
• Meet with agency executive staff, program managers, and employees to identify and analyze training and development needs.
,
• Oversee curriculum development and maintain relationships with training organizations and consultants.
,
• Develop performance standards for programs and instructors and methods for evaluating results.
,
• Provide advice and assistance to managers and supervisors to improve employee performance and productivity.
,
• Monitor training compliance and evaluate reports.
Requirements
• A bachelor's degree and four years of professional experience in the development, delivery, and management of staff development programs in a mental hygiene setting.

• One year of supervisory experience in a setting providing services to individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities, mental illness, or substance abuse.
,
• A Juris Doctor, master's or higher degree in a related field can substitute for one year of specialized experience.
