UPS is hiring Remote Field Service Engineers to provide advanced technical support, equipment diagnostics, and field-level coordination for UPS's logistics and technology infrastructure. This role is fully remote with periodic travel to customer or facility sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote diagnostics, troubleshooting, and resolution for field-based logistics systems.
- Coordinate service and maintenance schedules with internal teams and external vendors.
- Support deployment of hardware and software upgrades.
- Perform system health checks and respond to alerts proactively.
- Serve as a technical liaison between operations, engineering, and IT.
- Maintain documentation for service procedures, incident logs, and equipment specs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in field service, equipment support, or technical diagnostics.
- Strong knowledge of hardware systems, sensors, and remote monitoring tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site support or installations.
- U.S. residency required.
