Responsibilities
• Support the Farmland Preservation Program through stewardship of farmland parcels.

• Engage with farmers and farmland owners.

• Conduct field investigations and site inspections.

• Read and apply property deed terms.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for calculations and data analysis.

• Review and create Geographic Information System (GIS) maps.

• Write stewardship monitoring reports.

• Coordinate outreach with farmers, federal agencies, municipalities, and non-profit organizations involved in farmland preservation.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Mid-level Real Estate License.

• 6 years of technical experience in rights of way, real estate appraisal, land acquisition, or property management.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and GIS software.

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Nice-to-haves
• Experience interacting with municipalities, land conservation organizations, or farmers.
