Contract Opportunity for NSW English Teachers - Senior English Alignment Audit

<p>Education Perfect is an EdTech platform designed to empower educators and amplify their impact in the classroom. We aim to enable teachers to personalise learning at scale with a range of powerful learning, assessment, and insights tools, helping them and their students reach their full potential.</p><p>We require 2 highly experienced New South Wales Senior English teachers to audit existing Education Perfect content to ensure it aligns with the English outcomes for the new Senior (11-12) syllabuses for English Standard and English Advanced (2024).</p><p><strong>This position will require the successful candidate to:</strong></p><ul> <li>Carefully examine each EP lesson and align it to the appropriate outcome/s from the most recent English syllabus</li> <li>Organise the existing content into a folder structure that makes resources accessible to teachers</li> <li>Assess the percentage coverage for each focus area</li> <li>Recommend any adaptations to existing lessons and/or identify any new lessons that may need to be built due to changes in the study design.</li> </ul><p><strong>Please note: This role does not include the creation of any content.&nbsp;</strong></p><p>This role offers the flexibility of remote work, using the suite of Google Applications (Docs and Sheets). You will have the freedom to manage your time and work independently.&nbsp;</p><p>The work is expected to take approximately 20 hours to complete (in total) and must be delivered within 4 weeks of the agreed start date. The successful applicant will be required for a further 2 weeks to apply feedback and address any questions. Upon successful completion of the project, a payment of $1000 AUD will be made.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Requirements of this position include:</strong></p><ul> <li>Minimum 5 years of experience teaching Year 11 and 12 English in New South Wales, specifically following the syllabus for English Standard or English Advanced</li> <li>An understanding of the curriculum changes that have taken place with the most recent version of the NSW Year 11-12 English syllabuses (2024)</li> <li>Experience in analysing curriculum documents and content resources</li> <li>Proficiency in Google Docs and Sheets</li> <li>Ability to work independently and to adhere to a strict timeline</li> <li>Experience using Education Perfect in the classroom is preferred</li> </ul><p>If you’d like to apply for this exciting opportunity, please apply online with your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your suitability.</p>
