$39,531 to $69,051 (CA, NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, MA)

$35,937 to $62,774 (NV, OR, AZ, CO, WY, TX, ND, MN, MO, IL, WI, FL, GA, MI, OH, VA, PA, DE, VT, NH, ME)

$32,344 to $56,496 (UT, ID, MT, NM, SD, SE, KS, OK, IA, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, SC, NC, WV)

The expected base salary for this position will vary depending on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills and location.

Job Summary

This position plays a vital role in providing comprehensive support to the sales team. The ideal candidate will assist with customer inquiries, preparing and processing sales documents, managing customer accounts, and ensuring that paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently. The specialist serves as a crucial link between the sales team and customers.

Additionally, this role involves delivering exceptional customer service to clients via phone, website and chat interactions, depending on the company division. The primary responsibility is to service and quote the company’s products and services across all 50 states with various insurance carriers, using both telephone and electronic communication methods.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Build rapport with customers, gather necessary information, and create a positive, high-level customer experience in a fast-paced, structured environment.
• Handle Customer Inquiries: Answer incoming customer calls to service and maintain existing accounts, ensuring all interactions are handled efficiently and professionally.
• Educate and Advise Customers: Offer guidance on insurance needs, provide estimates, and educate customers on options to increase or add coverage.
• Policy Management: Research, analyze, and respond to customer policy inquiries and changes, clearly explaining specific coverage details and addressing billing questions.
• Sales Support: Quote new and additional lines of insurance, prepare and complete insurance applications, and follow up on any required information to ensure a smooth process.
• Achieve Performance Goals: Meet pre-defined individual performance objectives focused on productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Flexibility: Be available to work overtime as needed to support the team and meet customer demands.

Qualifications:
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Familiarity with multiple insurance carriers and state insurance regulations is preferred.
• Ability to multitask, stay detail-oriented, and maintain exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player with strong interpersonal abilities and the capacity to empathize with customers.
• Solid computer and typing skills, with proficiency in navigating a Windows environment.
• Competence in simultaneously navigating and toggling between multiple systems, including data entry, quoting applications, insurance software, and communication platforms.
• Strong problem resolution skills to address and resolve customer concerns effectively.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus

Education/Experience
• High School diploma or its equivalent
• Bachelor's degree a plus
• Active Resident Property & Casualty Insurance Producer license
• 1+ years customer service experience in the insurance or related industry
