About the position

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with fare quotes and boarding gate functions.
  • Perform assignments at the ticket counter, airport lobby, baggage counter, and gate check-in.
  • Maintain professional interaction with airline passengers, clients, and crew.
  • Translate and transcribe when possible.
  • Handle company assets carefully and be aware of costs associated with damage.
  • Complete accurate cash handling transactions, manifests, and labeling.
  • Operate machinery according to operational policies and standards.
  • Use computers, printers, and other equipment to manage data confidentially.
  • Read and comprehend reference materials, instructions, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance from US Customs and Border Protection.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
  • Computer literate with common sense and organizational skills.
  • Ability to make quick and rational decisions.
  • Effective communication and good listening skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Arabic, Chinese, or Vietnamese.
