About the position

As a Verisk Field Representative, you will evaluate commercial business sites for various lines of insurance coverage, focusing on loss prevention and risk assessment. This full-time remote position involves conducting onsite visits, reporting findings, and assisting insurers in their policy underwriting and pricing decisions. You will utilize effective planning and organizational skills to manage site visits and provide detailed reports, contributing to the overall risk evaluation process for commercial properties.

Responsibilities
• Schedule and conduct on-site visits to evaluate risk for commercial business sites.

• Complete appropriate reports for customers to assess risk and provide recommendations.
,
• Identify different business operations, construction materials, fire protection systems, and safety measures.
,
• Represent Verisk and customers professionally through various communication channels.
,
• Ensure data quality by completing accurate and customer-centric reports.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience in fields such as Risk Management, Insurance, or Construction Management.

• Preferred experience in insurance loss control, underwriting, or claims; commercial building construction; compliance; or property inspections.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
,
• Strong proficiency with technology, including laptops, mobile devices, and MS Office suite.

• Self-motivated with effective planning and goal-setting skills.

• Professional designations such as CFPS, CSP, ARM, ALCM, NFPA, and/or CPCU.
