Key Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Certification: TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience: Previous ESL teaching experience (online or in-person) is an advantage, though not required.
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfort with online teaching tools and virtual classrooms.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adjust teaching methods based on student needs and learning styles.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple students and lesson plans effectively.
  • Patience and Empathy: Ability to work with diverse learners and understand their unique challenges.

Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience teaching ESL (preferred, but not mandatory).
  • Experience working with students of various ages and language proficiency levels is a plus.
  • Familiarity with virtual teaching platforms and tools is an asset.

Working Hours

  • Flexible working hours, with the ability to teach during evenings and weekends to accommodate students in various time zones.
  • Part-time positions available, with the possibility of full-time depending on student demand.
