About the position
In this role, you will manage the KYC (Know Your Customer) process for corporate clients within the Japanese North American Banking team (JNAB). This position involves client outreach, document collection, and ensuring compliance with KYC regulations while collaborating with various departments to facilitate banking services for Japanese corporate clients in the Americas.
Responsibilities
• Contact clients to gather required KYC information and related documents in a timely and professional manner.

• Furnish obtained information to related departments for downstream processes without delay.
,
• Share client communication with Relationship Managers.
,
• Consult with Relationship Managers to complete the collection of required KYC information and documents without delay in case of any issues.
,
• Manage KYC progress and share the information with related departments for due diligence and date control.
,
• Understand regulations and internal policies and procedures in terms of KYC and related matters, and understand related bank systems.
,
• Perform non-KYC related tasks assigned by managers on an ad-hoc basis.
Requirements
• Bilingual in English and Japanese (reading/writing/speaking).

• Ability to understand policies and procedures written in Japanese and English.
,
• Excellent business e-mail writing skills.
,
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
,
• Working experience in client service preferred.
,
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel preferred.
