Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design structural engineering plans for various projects including residential, commercial, and industrial structures.
- Conduct analysis and calculations to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Prepare and review detailed engineering reports and specifications.
- Work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and other engineers to resolve technical challenges and improve designs.
- Perform on-site inspections, when necessary, to assess the condition of existing structures and evaluate repair needs.
- Utilize engineering software and tools to create designs, simulations, and calculations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all projects are completed within the specified timeframes and budget constraints.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of structural design principles, building codes, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, or Revit.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, with a high level of self-discipline and motivation.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in designing and analyzing various types of structures (residential, commercial, and industrial).
- Experience with project management, including coordinating teams, managing timelines, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Experience working with U.S. building codes and regulations.
Working Hours
- Full-time, remote position with flexible working hours.
- Expected to be available for meetings and collaboration during standard U.S. business hours (9 AM - 5 PM ET), but flexibility is offered.

- In-depth knowledge of structural materials, construction methods, and design techniques.
- Advanced problem-solving ability to address complex engineering challenges.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
