Web Extract Conversion Analyst

The Web Extract Conversion Analyst designs, modifies, and develops web-based extracts of property tax data using software programming applications and components. The role works from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and maintains documentation of process flow. The Analyst is charged with the building and maintenance of web site variable tables and attributes and the creation of process specific documentation and diagrams.

Web Extract Development

· Utilizes established software tools to build web-based HTML extracts
• Maps data extract process flows to mirror manual business process
• Establishes agency specific variables and attributes to map to established criteria
• Creates technical specifications and test plans
• Identifies defects and performs modifications to existing extracts
• Creates new and modifies existing operational documentation
• Consults colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of existing extract programs
• Supports process enhancements and further use case development

This position will perform other duties as assigned based on the needs of the department.

Salary Range: $50,773 - $68,640

Core Competencies:
• Familiarity with basic programming language
• Excellent MS Excel and MS Access skills
• Basic understanding of HTML table structures, Java, and HTML tags
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of tax collection processes and terminology

Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Computer Information Systems or related technical field
• 2-5 years applicable experience
• Experience working in Tax Services or Financial Services
• Related work experience in business analytics
