Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery for manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate mechanical systems with electrical and control systems.
• Perform regular maintenance and inspections on machinery and mechanical systems to ensure optimum performance.
• Develop and implement modifications and improvements to existing mechanical systems and processes.
• Prepare technical reports, design specifications, and project documentation.
• Ensure all designs comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Support production teams in achieving manufacturing goals and targets.
• Participate in research and development efforts to introduce new technologies or improve manufacturing techniques.
• Maintain quality control and ensure the accurate implementation of engineering designs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, processes, and machinery used in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
• Knowledge of material science, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
• Understanding of safety standards and regulations related to mechanical engineering.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical design, equipment, and machinery maintenance.
• Prior experience in quality control and process improvement within manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience working with manufacturing teams to ensure product quality and production efficiency.

Working Hours:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday.
• Typical working hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Occasional overtime may be required based on project deadlines or machinery maintenance schedules.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data and drawings.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to manufacturing and machinery.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Proficient in using engineering software and tools for design and simulation.
• Knowledge of automated systems and robotics is an advantage.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure.
