About the position
Evernorth Direct Health is dedicated to providing personalized wellness services to our customers directly at their place of employment. As a Bilingual Health Educator, you will play a crucial role in our Custom Coaching program, which connects employees with highly skilled wellness coaches for face-to-face sessions. Our approach is holistic, focusing on helping employees set and accomplish their health goals, manage chronic conditions, and encourage healthy behaviors. In this position, you will provide onsite coaching and support to customers, identifying their health education needs through targeted health assessment activities. You will refer customers to other Cigna Evernorth clinical programs or client-specific programs as clinically appropriate. Collaboration is key; you will work with customers to establish health improvement plans, set personalized evidence-based goals, and support them in achieving these goals. Empowering customers to take an active role in their health outcomes is a fundamental aspect of this role. You will also assist customers in overcoming barriers to better health and lead various health and wellness promotional activities, including group coaching, wellness challenges, and health-related seminars. Additionally, you may perform biometric screenings, such as finger sticks, blood pressure checks, and body composition assessments. Utilizing biometric values and motivational interviewing techniques, you will collaborate with customers to drive improvements in clinical outcomes. Your support will extend to health-related site events, including open enrollment, wellness committee facilitation, flu shot events, and health fairs. Collaboration with matrix partners will be essential to support the overall health and wellness strategy aligned with your client.

• Bilingual in Spanish required.

• Strong clinical skills with at least 3 or more years of experience in the health and wellness field.

• At least 1 or more years of health coaching/health education experience.

• Current ACLS/BLS/CPR/AED Certification.

• High energy level with dynamic presentation skills.
,
• Positive role model in demonstrating healthy behaviors.
