Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate, qualified, and dedicated Mental Health Counselors to join our team remotely. In this role, you will provide therapeutic counseling services to individuals and groups experiencing mental health challenges. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will offer support to clients coping with a variety of emotional, behavioral, and psychological difficulties, helping them to manage and overcome their challenges in a safe and non-judgmental environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide confidential one-on-one and group counseling sessions via phone, video call, or chat platforms.
  • Assess clients mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help clients manage mental health conditions.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and up-to-date clinical records and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when needed to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct crisis interventions and provide support during emergencies.
  • Stay informed on the latest mental health research and best practices to ensure high-quality care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Masters degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Active and valid state licensure as a mental health counselor, social worker, or psychologist.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and technology.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience in providing virtual counseling or therapy is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High level of empathy and emotional intelligence to understand and support diverse clients.

Experience

  • At least 2-3 years of professional experience providing mental health counseling, with a focus on virtual or remote work.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Prior experience in crisis management and intervention is preferred.
  • Familiarity with state-specific mental health regulations and ethical guidelines.

Working Hours

  • Flexible working hours, with the ability to set your own schedule.
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts may be required based on client needs.
  • Full-time and part-time positions are available.
