This remote role will lead our AI initiatives and equip our talent pool to become AI-native professionals.</p><p></p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><p>This role is ideal for someone who can combine strategic vision, market analysis, and talent development expertise to help both the agency and its talent pool thrive in the AI era.</p><ul> <li>Monitor and analyze global and local AI market trends, tools, and technologies.</li> <li>Identify in-demand AI-related skills and map them to talent development programs.</li> <li>Design and oversee training initiatives to upskill candidates on AI tools and practices relevant to their industries.</li> <li>Collaborate with training providers, industry experts, and internal teams to create AI-focused learning modules.</li> <li>Explore ways to integrate AI into recruitment operations (e.g., talent database, data insights, market research).</li> <li>Track training outcomes and continuously optimize based on talent and client needs.</li> <li>Partner with recruitment consultants to align client hiring demands with AI-native talent.</li> <li>Educate internal teams on AI adoption in recruitment workflows and business operations.</li> <li>Pilot and evaluate new AI tools that can enhance the agency’s efficiency and competitive edge.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.</li> <li>Experience in strategic business management, talent development, or technology adoption roles.</li> <li>Strong understanding of AI applications across industries (e.g., HR tech, automation, data analytics, generative AI, chatbots, predictive analytics).</li> <li>Excellent analytical skills to evaluate AI trends and translate them into actionable strategies.</li> <li>Ability to assess and evaluate new AI tools for adoption within business or recruitment workflows.</li> <li>Strong ability to bridge the gap between technology and talent development.</li> <li>Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.</li> <li>Curious, innovative, and proactive in exploring emerging technologies.</li> <li>Excellent written and spoken English skills</li> </ul><p></p><h3>Nice to have</h3><ul> <li>Experience in training design, learning programs, or workforce transformation projects.</li> <li>Experience in applying AI/digital tools for training or workforce upskilling initiatives.</li> <li>International exposure or ability to track global AI workforce trends.</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>Fully remote</li> <li>Competitive salary paid in NZD</li> <li>Flexible hours</li> <li>Career opportunities in a fast growing start-up</li> </ul>
