Contract-to-FT Design Lead

Maybe that’s you?</p><h3><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h3><p>As our Design Lead, you’ll be a versatile designer supporting our Creative Director across a wide range of projects. You’ll support both large-scale projects and smaller design tasks. Your responsibilities will include:</p><p><strong>Design Lead:</strong> Lead larger and more complex projects, guiding them from initial concept to final delivery. This includes developing brand systems, multi-page websites, and digital reports. You’ll have the support of our Creative Director and access to additional talent for specialized needs (e.g., web, motion, development).</p><p><strong>Design Support:</strong> Assist with smaller, one-off tasks like creating LinkedIn posts, editing images, or designing decks for presentations.</p><p><strong>Bunsen Brand:</strong> Own the Bunsen brand end-to-end, helping to make revisions to the website, creating marketing graphics, and designing sales decks.</p><h3><strong>Who you are</strong></h3><p><strong>Talented: </strong>We care more about your design skills than your years of education or experience. Instead of just doing the work to get it done, you go out of your way to learn more about the client and their technology so you can better serve their goals.</p><p><strong>Scrappy:</strong> You thrive in a fast-paced, agency environment and are comfortable with a variety of projects and clients.</p><h3><strong>Opportunity</strong></h3><p><strong>Time:</strong> This role will start as a part-time contract, approximately 15-25 hours per week.</p><p><strong>Growth:</strong> After the successful delivery of 2-3 projects, this role has the potential to transition to a full-time position.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> We are remote-first but require ~5 hours overlap with EST (our meetings are typically within 12-5pm EST).</p><p><strong>Compensation: </strong>We offer fixed-fee budgets for more defined projects (e.g., brand, web, and deck work) and an hourly rate for less defined tasks (e.g., one-off design work).</p><p><br></p>
