About the position

Responsibilities

  • Manage the personnel and activities of the Corden Pharma warehouses.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to develop area employees.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, quality, financial, and non-financial requirements.
  • Coordinate the delivery of bulk solvents and other materials with Planning, Purchasing, and Production Departments.
  • Interact with internal process experts to stay updated on process changes.
  • Fulfill the role of SAP Warehouse Management (WM) Functional Expert.
  • Oversee internal and external audits of the warehouse and provide follow-up documentation.
  • Lead incident reporting and management of associated CAPAs.
  • Evaluate bulk solvent/raw material needs for production processes in coordination with Supply Planner and Procurement.
  • Initiate and manage warehouse and logistic projects related to space utilization and cold storage operations.
  • Oversee shipment of goods according to DOT and IATA regulations.
  • Manage hazardous waste and shipping duties in accordance with regulations.
  • Verify quantity and quality of stock received from manufacturers and resolve issues.
  • Negotiate and manage all transportation activities.
  • Conduct employee reviews and manage warehouse employee-related matters.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3 years of related experience and/or training in warehouse management or logistics.
  • Forklift Certification is required.
  • DOT and IATA certification is required.
  • Experience with SAP and MRP systems is essential.
  • Strong writing skills for reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of GMP and quality control processes.

Nice-to-haves

  • SAP training or certification is desirable.
  • Experience in a Pharmaceutical/Chemical Manufacturing environment.
