Blazer Jobs is seeking multiple Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support students in a school-based setting located in Kansas City, KS. The ideal candidates will contribute to a safe, supportive, and effective learning environment by delivering essential services aligned with the needs of the district and its students. This position is for the 2025–2026 School Year.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide routine and emergency medical care to students as directed by nursing staff or medical plans.
• Monitor and document student health concerns, including chronic conditions and injuries.
• Administer medications and assist with medical procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student health records in compliance with legal and district guidelines.
• Support a healthy and inclusive school environment through daily health services and communication with staff and families.
(Responsibilities may vary depending on assignment within the district.)
Requirements:
• Active Kansas LPN license
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
