Senior Probate Litigation Attorney (Fully Remote - Texas)
Job Description:
We’re working with a well-established, Texas-based probate litigation firm seeking a seasoned Probate Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience. This is a fully remote position with regular in-person court appearances required in Travis, Williamson, and Bell counties.
The firm has a steady caseload of contested probate matters and is looking for someone ready to take the lead in the courtroom. This is a great opportunity for an experienced litigator who enjoys autonomy, values long-term client relationships, and thrives in a high-performance environment.
Responsibilities:
• Handle a full docket of contested probate cases
• Regularly appear in court for hearings, mediations, and depositions
• Work closely with clients to develop and execute litigation strategies
• Collaborate with the firm’s support staff and leadership to manage workflow efficiently
• No business development required — the caseload is already in place
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of legal experience, with a strong background in probate litigation
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar
• Courtroom experience and confidence handling contested hearings
• Highly organized, solutions-oriented, and proactive
• Comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment
Compensation & Benefits:
• Base salary: $120,000–$155,000, depending on experience
• Quarterly performance bonuses: $2,500–$10,000 based on billables
• Billable target: 32–35 hours/week
• Benefits: Health insurance (available after 90 days), paralegal and administrative support provided
• Work setup: Fully remote, with access to offices in Round Rock and Georgetown for client meetings if needed
