In this role, you will be responsible for managing patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling, and providing exceptional administrative support within a dental or medical office environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and experience with relevant software systems.
Responsibilities
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently while managing the calendar for multiple providers.
• Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
• Utilize Eaglesoft or similar software to manage appointment scheduling and patient data effectively.
• Communicate with patients regarding their appointments, including reminders and follow-ups.
• Assist in the management of medical records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with dental or medical staff to optimize office workflow and enhance patient experience.
• Address patient inquiries and resolve scheduling conflicts in a timely manner.
• Stay informed about dental terminology, ICD-9 codes, and Medicare processes to provide accurate information to patients.
Skills
• Proficiency in administrative tasks with a focus on medical or dental office operations.
• Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar practice management software is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Medicare processes and medical administrative support functions.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and ICD-9 coding is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills to manage schedules and maintain accurate records efficiently.
