Senior Manager, AI ML Applied Field Engineering

Description:

• Build the future of the AI Data Cloud. Join the Snowflake team.
• Lead a highly skilled pre-sales team focusing on driving Snowflake's AI ML adoption across North America.
• Manage a team of exceptional AFEs who partner with the Product sales team.
• Work with leaders across sales teams, product management, and technology partners.
• Play a hands-on role in building and managing a team of AFEs.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in a pre-sales capacity, including 5+ years in a leadership role managing and mentoring high-performing teams (hiring, training, and retaining top talent)
• Strong domain expertise in areas such as Data Science and Machine learning, Data Warehousing, Cloud Computing, and SaaS Solutions
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations to both technical and executive stakeholders — whether on a whiteboard, through live demos, or formal presentations
• Consultative sales approach: Ability to understand complex business challenges and map them to Snowflake’s cloud data platform and solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Strong strategic thinking, with a deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles and the ability to manage complex deals from initial discovery to close.
