Who you are:
The Work & Travel USA and Camp Exchange USA programs within the Seasonal Exchange programs group allow approximately 25,000 students and young professionals from around the world to take part in work-based exchange programs at host organizations across the U.S. each year. These programs are operated under the authority of the U.S. Department of State to advance public diplomacy through the BridgeUSA set of programs. The Coordinator, Seasonal Exchange Programs will be focused on maintaining relationships with host employers who hire participants traveling on CIEE BridgeUSA programs. The Coordinator will be responsible for managing host employer data, communicating with host employers, screening participants for English language skills, and recruiting on behalf of host employers. This position requires flexibility, professionalism, and attention to detail.
What you’ll do:
• Customer service – Provide superior customer service to clients, answering inquiries and troubleshooting problems related to systems, hiring events, participant incidents, and other issues as they arise. Provide training to clients on new processes, program rules and regulations, and participate in country activities.
• Data management – Track host employer related details using CIEE’s customer relationship management system; update and maintain accurate data records throughout the hiring and in-country season and relevant reporting.
• Recruitment – Interview and hire participants on behalf of employers.
• Project Management and Support – Manage team projects as assigned; liaise and communicate with other teams to reach the project goal.
• Participant Support – Support host employers in participant in-country issues by collecting facts on issues, coaching host employers on managing arising issues, and mediating conflicts between participants and host employers.
• Site Visits – Visit host employers to evaluate their work site and support students.
• Travel – This role may involve both domestic and international travel, as conditions allow.
• Other duties as assigned
What you’ll bring:
• A bachelor’s degree is required from a four-year college or university.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• International study/work experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer skills including MS Teams, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
• Excellent organizational skills with incredible attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong ability to multitask while overseeing daily project management.
• Energetic and team-oriented.
