Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports to track the organizations financial performance.
- Maintain and update accounting records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor accounts payable/receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for review by senior management.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Perform data entry tasks for financial transactions and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure financial transactions align with business objectives.
- Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Assist in tax preparation and other regulatory filings as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience
- No prior professional experience is required, but internships or volunteer work related to accounting will be considered an advantage.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience in accounting or finance roles are encouraged to apply.
Working Hours
- Full-time position: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Standard office hours, with flexibility depending on work demands.
