Lead and oversee the Anatomic Pathology department at Cigna, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and accurate diagnoses.
Establish and implement best practices and protocols for Anatomic Pathology services.
Manage and mentor a team of pathologists and laboratory staff, providing guidance and support to promote professional growth and development.
Collaborate with other departments and leaders within Cigna to ensure alignment and integration of Anatomic Pathology services.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Anatomic Pathology, and make recommendations for implementation of new technologies and processes.
Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines related to Anatomic Pathology services.
Monitor and analyze department performance metrics and make strategic recommendations for improvement.
Serve as a subject matter expert for Anatomic Pathology, providing expertise and guidance to other departments and teams within Cigna.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Anatomic Pathology department.
Represent Cigna at industry conferences and events, showcasing our commitment to excellence in Anatomic Pathology.
Act as a liaison between the Anatomic Pathology department and senior leadership, providing regular updates and reports on departmental activities and initiatives.
