What you do:

As the AI & Analytics Platform Architect you will be the strategic and technical leader driving Allianz Life’s AI and Analytics capabilities on the Azure platform. In this pivotal role, you’ll combine hands-on engineering expertise with architectural vision to design, build, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure that powers advanced analytics and AI solutions. You’ll define and execute the platform’s architecture with a focus on operational excellence, security, and performance. Collaboration will be key, as you partner closely with IT, data science, analytics engineering, and vendor teams to deliver a robust, future-ready platform that accelerates innovation and business value.  You will report to the Sr. Director, AI & Analytics Engineering.
 
Platform Strategy & Architecture

Engineering & Operations

<li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Ensure high availability, performance, and observability of platform services through proactive monitoring and incident response</li>

Collaboration & Governance

Innovation & Enablement

<li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture with at least 2+ years working on Azure</li>
<li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Expertise in Azure services such as Azure Machine Learning, AI Foundry, Data Factory, Synapse, Key Vault, and Monitor</li>
<li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Experience with MLOps, DevOps, and SDLC practices in a regulated enterprise environment</li>
<li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Understanding of the infrastructure required to run LLM and other GenAI-based AI Applications as well as traditional ML Ops & data pipelines</li>
<li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Experience managing multi-environment platforms (dev/test/prod) and supporting AI/analytics workloads</li>
<li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships</li>
<li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills</li>
<li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require immigration sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B, L-1, TN, etc). Salary Range: $98,000 - $196,000
